Goodman Manufacturing - Coil fails at 15 months
Bought new home with Goodman AC in Roswell, Georgia in March, 2015. Evaporator coil failed late June, 2016.
They told me I didn't register my unit, so the warranty would be cut in half... Five years instead of 10. Also, they don't cover labor, only the part... my out of pocket was about $800.00 The local install guy said the company wanted the part back for inspection before they would authorize a replacement, so the repair would take 5-7 business days.
The average high in Atlanta this week is 96 degrees. That is absurd. Their customer service agent Valerie, and her supervisor Claudine, basically told me 'tough, we won't do anything for you'. Bad ethics.
Bad products.
Suggest you don't deal with them.
Reason of review: Damaged or defective.
Monetary Loss: $800.
Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.
Goodman Manufacturing Cons: People, Policies, Attitude of customer service people, Such as valerie.
Location: Roswell, Georgia
