Not happy at all !

I purchased 2 of your Goodman furnaces and after a little over a year in service the board went out (i installed the furnace) I had a service tech replace the board now a month later the tenant calls and says the heat won't come on ........ Not Happy ! Was told because i installed the furnace myself the board inside the furnace wasn't covered !

User's recommendation: Do not buy these junk units !

Open limit

Board indicated an open limit. Dude was blown instead. Fault code instructions did not indicate. Tech support helped identify. Thanks.

Compressor Warranty question

My GSC130601DD, 5-ton system which was installed by C&;;;;;;;;;;;J Heating and Air Conditioning company in August 2016, died and upon being troubleshooted the compressor (inside the condenser) was found to be defective. Mind you, this is just a 5-year system. The same iLnstaller diagnosed the problem as a bad Scroll Compressor. It was replaced with a ZR57K5E-PFV-800 to get my system back into operation again.

Compressor under warranty is bad

Still waiting for a compressor had me pay for overnight delivery then they said they couldnt get it overnight would be five days today they were telling me Wednesday

Local branch refusing to warranty item

Local branch is refusing to warranty a compressor when its still covered under warranty then gives me a phone number that doesnt work nor does the one on this website

Issue with unit

The tech support gentleman I spoke with was very helpful!!! I would recommend any HVAC tech that needs help to please call Support.

Blade fan o a ac 3 tons/ fan motor. Fan not available!

Johnston supply did not have the parts available. Sent wrong part. Brand new ac Condenser has to be repaired. I should get paid for fixing.

Bad unit

I purchased a new unit less than three years old, the compressor has gone out, now I'm gonna be out $1500 dollars to get a new one put in. Its under warranty for the part, but the Labor is $1000 due to nobody in my area use Goodman. What kind of company doesn't cover Labor, the unit not even three years old. I am very pissed. I was gonna order ten units for the company l work part time, but l don't think so. I hope this can be resolved.

Furnace tech support

Two units were down and the house was 37 degrees. Tech support was able to point me to calling an electrician because the house was not grounded properly. I am a licensed Hvacr contractor. Never have seen this issue in my career. I dont know how they even thought of recommending the fix. I was impressed !!!!!

Having problems with humidity control

Spoke to head of goodman tech service also forwarded to Daikin said he would know better.you people cannot run an 18seer heatpump off a honeywell 8000 properly.been fighting with ignorant techs telling me I don't need a comfort net thermostat. Yes you do.otherwise your humidity will remain in Florida at 67to76percent..cannot have a variable speed fan running for 3to10 minutes with no compressor. It pumps humidity into house.i put communicating comfort net stat and my humidity has never gone above 56percent.i even disconnected my humidstat..educate yourselves on your product and how to avoid ways to mold your house.ha and also the relay stopping fan did not make it better.tstat now runs low fan high cool to pull humidity out.1.5 year wasted with *** now have 2 thermostat. Thanks for wasting time and money
