Product breaks down after a year

Goodman could care less that this is happening to so many people.. no response at all.

Capacitor and compressor went out after 16 months. They will only pay for the part and I am paying $2,000 in labor to replace their *** parts and they take no responsibility. Think twice before you buy this product. LOTS of reviews about parts breaking down after 1 yr. Goodman needs to look into this and take some responsibility for their *** parts.

No part is available only for a furnace less than six years. Not even able to locate or call Goodman.

Heat pump unit is piece of garbage

Our unit is only 1 1/2yrs old. The past two weeks we had to replace: compressor , PC board which actually was burnt, change over valve,fuses in heat section, and its still not working. I called Goodman about future warranty being extended by them since so many parts are now new. They dont change warranty start date according to install dates of compressor or any parts. I told them I am disgusted by the lack of longevity and quality of their products. DONT BUY A GOODMAN! I had requested a Trane, but the rip-off builder put this POS in instead!

Defective Unit

Our Goodman AC was extremely expensive and NOT even 2 years old. Only their junky parts are covered under the warranty so its costing us $1000s more to get junky parts replaced. We are a family of 5 in Florida with broken AC for 2 weeks in 90 degree weather. DO NOT BUY GOODMAN. Junk.

Compressor Warranty question

My GSC130601DD, 5-ton system which was installed by C&;;;;;;;;;;;J Heating and Air Conditioning company in August 2016, died and upon being troubleshooted the compressor (inside the condenser) was found to be defective. Mind you, this is just a 5-year system. The same iLnstaller diagnosed the problem as a bad Scroll Compressor. It was replaced with a ZR57K5E-PFV-800 to get my system back into operation again.

Needed some information on a furnace part

Wanted to know about a rubber hose inside my furnace, specifically if I can use a PVC hose to replace the original black rubberish hose, and if not can they supply the proper hose as I don't know what it's made of or where to get it. They got back to me saying I must talk to an installer, I did but he could not help me with the information, I went back to Goodman and explained, they said if the installer does not have an answer he supposed to call Goodman as they will only talk to an installer and not directly to the customer, in other words they want me to pay someone to do what a child can do in a few minutes, great if you are the installer! ( I gave up on Goodman and will use my own discretion ) Welononlon. I got fed up with it so I will use my own discretion.

Johnston supply did not have the parts available. Sent wrong part. Brand new ac Condenser has to be repaired. I should get paid for fixing.
